Note that this guide requires admin access to a project in your Jira instance

  • Navigate to Project Settings - found on the bottom left of the page

  • You should see a list of the left of screen as shown below

  • Scroll down to the bottom of the list and click ‘Shift Roster’

  • Click ‘Add User’

  • Select the desired user (Users not showing up? - view this guide to find out which users can be added to Jira, alternatively contact us at support@raven-shift.atlassian.net or TBC)

  • Select the users timezone - the default value is the timezone that the user is in according to Jira

  • Fill in the users shift details and permissions

  • Click ‘Next’

  • From here you can add another shift or exit the onboarding process

  • Once the user has been added to the shift roster app you will be able to manage their shifts by clicking on their name

  • Navigate back to the Project

  • Click on the ‘Shift Roster’ icon

  • You will now be able to see the users' shifts
